CIRIOT has been working with Shinshu University’s Fiber Innovation Incubator (FII) since 2019 to facilitate international partnerships for R&D related to circular fibers, materials, and textiles. The goal is to develop sustainable and eco-friendly materials for the textile industry. CIRIOT’s assistance has helped to connect FII with relevant international partners and increase its visibility in the global market.
Shinshu University is a national university located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. The university was established in 1949 and has a history that dates back to 1875 with the founding of the Matsumoto Medical School. Today, Shinshu University has nine faculties, four graduate schools, and a research institute, covering a wide range of academic fields such as humanities, science, engineering, medicine, and agriculture.
